Research & Conversations
This page brings together research, exhibitions, talks, workshops, and projects developed over more than two decades. From early experiments in interactive media and digital installations to current work on AI, creativity, education, and 13Collections (13C), these activities reflect a continuing interest in how people create, learn, and adapt as technology changes the way we live.
Organised across different periods of practice, these works are not separate chapters but different expressions of the same inquiry. They represent an ongoing exploration of the relationship between people, technology, creativity, and place.
Supporting this practice is more than two decades of academic experience across different educational systems and cultures. Through teaching, curriculum design, programme development, and academic leadership, I have explored how education can respond to technological change while helping people develop the skills and perspectives needed for the future.

Foundations in Interactive Media (1999–2015)
My early practice explored the relationship between technology, creativity, and human experience through interactive art, computational media, and digital environments.
During this period, I developed projects that examined how emerging technologies could become new forms of expression, interaction, and communication. These explorations led to international exhibitions, conferences, and collaborations, including First Iteration, Transmediale, SIGGRAPH, CADE, and ISEA. These early investigations established themes that continue to inform my current work: how people engage with technology, how creative practices evolve, and how new systems reshape human experience.
Although the following years focused on higher education and industry, the same questions continued through practice. This continuity re-emerged in presentations at ISEA 2014 (Dubai) and ISEA 2015 (Vancouver), bridging early artistic practice with his current work exploring creativity, education, and human experience.
