From interactive installations and public-facing systems to current explorations in photography, AI, and creativity, these works reflect an ongoing interest in how people create, learn, and engage with technology in everyday life.
Current areas of inquiry
Contemporary Practice (2021 - Present)
Since 2021, Julius’s work has expanded through collaborations with startups and emerging technology communities. Experiences with Nethermind, spongelii, and HAI Academy provided opportunities to explore questions surrounding digital identity, creativity, learning, and the changing relationship between people and intelligent systems.
Rather than a departure from earlier work, these engagements represented a continuation of interests that have evolved over more than two decades, connecting art, design, technology, and human experience in new contexts.
Industry Practice (2003 - 2011)
The collage below highlights selected projects developed during Julius’s years in Singapore. Collaborating with organisations such as Marina Barrage, Singapore Grand Prix, Parliament House, National Library Board, Singapore Discovery Centre, and Collectors Contemporary Fine Art Gallery provided opportunities to translate ideas into interactive experiences, digital installations, and public-facing systems. Rather than isolated commissions, these projects represented another expression of an ongoing inquiry into how creativity and technology can shape learning, engagement, and human experience.
